Bargate Homes

Bargate Homes was established in 2006, to be a truly differentiated homebuilder in its product and guiding principles. To focus on doing the right thing, in delighting customers; not prioritising margins and shareholder returns. To reject the malaise of mediocrity in new homes design & build standards and appalling levels of customer service. This vision is as true to the business now as it was then, resulting in our enviable reputation. Indeed, VIVID’s acquisition of the business and decision for the business to continue to operate independently is a further endorsement of the appeal of our ethos.

LPDF members specialise in the promotion and development of predominantly strategic land across the UK, delivering from 30 new home sites to larger scale sites of up to 10,000 new homes, alongside community facilities, employment space, and supporting infrastructure. The LPDF’s ambition is to enhance the current debate on housing supply. The LPDF works with a wide range of governmental and industry stakeholders to find ways to improve the planning system, so the future for those searching for new homes is a brighter one. It also wants to dispense with some of the myths and misconceptions around the role of land promoters and developers by highlighting the expertise and track record of their members.

Orbit Group

Orbit was established in 1967 by two people on a park bench contemplating how to tackle homelessness. The passion they felt about the inequality in the access, scale and quality of available housing was channelled into positive action, and Orbit was created. Their purpose today is every bit as important as it was when Orbit was founded. Orbit manages around 45,000 affordable homes in the Midlands, East and South East of England, and builds around 1,500 new affordable homes every year. Today, over 100,000 people live in an Orbit home and their aim is to ensure the homes they provide and the places they create are good quality, affordable and safe. Orbit is proud to be a commercial organisation with a strong social purpose, enabling it to reinvest its profits to improve the quality of their homes, services and our communities, and the provision of more much needed affordable housing.
